Jay Prakash Thakur is an experienced Data Scientist and Full Stack/Backend Developer with over 7 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant (Software Developer) at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he analyzes traffic data to raise an alarm for pedestrian and vehicles using data visualization, data science, and machine learning techniques. He is highly skilled in debugging, analysis, and problem-solving in diverse technical environments. Jay has a strong background and hands-on experience in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Applied Mathematics. He has solid knowledge in ANN, CNN, NLP, RNN, LSTM, and GAN’s. He is also experienced in the integration and development of APIs exposing Microservices (e.g., REST). Jay is highly motivated and tends to gravitate towards challenging environments.
